Your Atlantic City Drain Cleaners — Since 1993
When a drain backs up in Atlantic City, it’s usually no surprise to us. This is some of the oldest plumbing in the county — cast-iron stacks the salt’s been chewing on for decades, packed-in row homes, duplexes, and multifamily buildings, old sewer traps out at the curb, and newer slab homes where the ground’s shifted and cracked the lines underneath. We’ve been clearing these AC drains since 1993, and our shop’s right here in town — so we know what’s behind the wall before we open it up.
Whether it’s a single slow sink, a line packed with grease, or a main backing up into the basement, we find it and clear it. If something’s going on down the line, we camera it, show you what we’re looking at, and lay out your options — repair or replace, your call. Straight answers, honest price. Need it handled today? We offer same-day service — call us and we’ll get you on the schedule.
What We Clear in Atlantic City
If it drains, we clear it — main sewer lines from the house to the street, whole-house backups, toilets, sinks, tubs and showers, washing machine drains, slop sinks, and floor drains, plus roof and storm drains.
We handle any blockage down the line — grease, sludge, roots, you name it — with the right tool for the job: cable and snake drain cleaning, hydro jetting, sewer video inspection and location service, and full root removal.

Hydro Jetting — The Fix That Lasts
A cable machine punches a hole through the clog, but the grease and buildup are still on the pipe wall — so it comes right back. Jetting scours the whole line: high-pressure water blasts the pipe back to bare wall, grease and roots and all. On AC’s old grease- and root-packed lines, it’s usually what finally makes the clog quit for good. Residential and light commercial.
-
Cast-Iron Descaling — Next-Level Clearing
Old AC cast iron gives you trouble as it ages — the inside wall rusts and scales over, turning rough and jagged, and that rough surface snags grease, paper, and debris until the line clogs. We run chain knockers, a specialty descaling machine that knocks the hardened rust and scale off the wall and brings it back to smooth, bare metal, then hydro jet it to flush it all out. That’s the difference between clearing a cast-iron line and restoring it — and on AC’s century-old pipe, it’s the real fix.
We Know Atlantic City, Block by Block
Thirty-plus years working this town means we know what’s under the ground in every section — and the problems change neighborhood to neighborhood:
Friends & Neighbors of the Atlantic City Sewer Company
Here’s something a lot of folks don’t know: in the older parts of Atlantic City, some houses are tied together on common sewer lines — shared runs that were put in before modern construction codes. When one of those backs up, it’s not always clear whose line it even is, and that’s exactly where our relationship with the Atlantic City sewer company pays off. They know the city, they’ve got the maps, and after 30-plus years we know the system and the people. We work together to track down the problem and get it fixed right — saving the residents the headache, the guesswork, and the finger-pointing. They’re our neighbors and our friends, and that teamwork gets your job done the first time.
Why Atlantic City Drains Clog
AC is a tough town on plumbing, and it comes down to age and ground. A lot of these lines are the oldest in the county — cast iron that’s rusted and scaled rough inside, terra-cotta with roots in the joints, and old curb traps catching everything. Down here on the barrier island the water table is high and it’s saltwater, sitting right up against the pipe. The sandy ground never stays put — it shifts and settles, cracking old lines open at the joints and sagging the ones under slabs. Once there’s an opening, that salty groundwater washes sand right into the line, where it settles and builds up. Add the summer rental crush and the food-service grease load, and these drains take a beating. We’re not guessing — we know how the pipe failed and how to fix it.
Sand in the Drain? We Know the Story.
We all know you’re supposed to rinse the beach off outside before you come in. But the kids come flying through the door straight to the shower, and all that beach sand goes right down the drain — day after day, all summer long. It builds up, it settles, and by August that tub’s draining slow. It’s the most shore thing there is, and we clear it out all the time. No lecture. Just call us and we’ll get it flowing.
Sometimes a Clog Is a Broken Pipe
Now and then the camera shows the real trouble isn’t a clog — it’s a cracked or collapsed line, common in the slab homes uptown where the ground’s settled. When that’s the case, we can often fix it from the inside with no-dig trenchless lining, no trench through your property. That’s a job of its own, and we’ve got a whole page on it.
